Daughter of both Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 (mother) and Ghana 🇬🇭 (father) wife of Jamaica 🇯🇲 (husband), first generation of America (Philadelphia adjacent) Nana has always been a champion and unofficial ambassador of and for the African diaspora. blackbook’d is a part of her soul purpose.

These individuals hold positions of leadership and authority within their respective communities, and the title "Nana" signifies their elevated status. The title "Nana" in Ghana carries connotations of respect, wisdom, and leadership. Nana holds no english name as her parents, and grandparents had the forethought of “African Personality.” Alex Quaison-Sackey, Nana’s paternal grandfather was a Ghanaian diplomat and the first black African to serve as President of the United Nations of General Assembly.
